Housing. It's something you'd think all humans should be able to have- like food, water, and an ex's Netflix password. With housing prices so high they could be in a Snoop Dog video, it's harder now than ever before to afford a place to live. If you're managing to find a way to pay for it, you're one of the lucky ones- a 2018 regional census counted 6,904 homeless people in D.C. No joke there.
Grassroots Comedy DC has seen enough, which is why we're partnering once again with our friends at with Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C., for a night of fundraising and hilarity, where we can all go back to our homes knowing that we've helped others in our community do the same.
